On June 25, I competed in another Tri The Parks sprint triathlon. This one took place at Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla, Georgia. Once again, I had a wonderful time! The swim and the run were the same distances (600meters and 5k), but the bike was a little longer (12.8 miles). I came in first for the females and sixth overall.

I continue to be impressed with the great organization of the Tri The Parks races. I also really enjoy seeing so many of my friends and training partners at these races. On Saturday, I was especially impressed that an 84 year old guy competed in and finished the race. What an inspiration!

I am looking forward to my next race in New York on July 10. I will be racing with Team Aegis, so it should be very exciting!
